She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and Sociology. Her career path was focused on medical school, but after participating in The University of Denver’s Public Achievement Program (DU PA), she found a hidden passion for education and
working with youth in the non-profit sector. She is also the co-founder of The University of Denver’s Health Professions Highway Program and the staff advisor for Pre-Health Club at College Track Aurora.

Additionally, she loves trying out new restaurants, playing video games on her PS4, and listening to music (anything from country music to RnB and K-pop).

Stephanie first learned about the Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps of Colorado (MRC) at the Aurora Preparedness Fair, where she met the Executive Director, Veronica Moody. For the past few years, Stephanie has been partnering with the MRC to provide guest speakers, preparedness lectures, and health focused events
for Pre-Health Club and the overall College Track community.
Stephanie is very passionate about changing students’ educational experiences outside of the traditional classroom.

Stephanie wants to use her passion, talent, and experience to influence the youth of tomorrow because they are our biggest hope for a better future. If knowledge is power then it is our civic duty to ensure everyone has equitable access to it. She brings joy and authenticity to the spaces she enters and invites others to do the same.
